Writer Strike in Hollywood and New Media

These are exciting time for content creators! Marc Anderson sums up what I’ve been thinking about the writer’s strike in his blog post here: http://blog.pmarca.com/2007/11/rebuilding-holl.html
My comments based on Marc’s post:
- Start making media now. Don’t wait. Now is the time for emerging content creators to begin projects.
- Move to professionalism quickly. There are a ton (I mean millions) of people who have raw talent but are unskilled. We all need to become skilled at the craft of creating media.
- Begin building a network of like minded creators. Community is everything in the new media economy. Let’s begin developing relationships with other people in this space.
