For example the <a href="http://podcast.mommycast.com/" rel="nofollow">MommyCast podcast</a> is an audio show and they have hundreds of thousands of listeners as well as sponsorships enabling them to do their show full time. But even Mommycast is moving toward video. It will be interesting to see what the future holds... Joel @Peckhammer

And you’re right. Video IS where it’s at. And I would say video is a great attraction medium. Of course there are also going to be exceptions to what I think will happen this year. For example the MommyCast podcast is an audio show and they have hundreds of thousands of listeners as well as sponsorships enabling them to do their show full time. But even Mommycast is moving toward video.

The next step for Twitter is for more business exchanges, more people to "take it seriously", and to try to reach more and more people. Email is not dead in any way at all; it's still a more personable way to deliver thoughts, ideas and messages people that through a blog post. What I would love is for a return to long-form thoughts and writing and the end of the "cult of new", but I'm a bit of a Luddite...
